ACCESS YOUR TAX FORMS

We have all your tax forms in one convenient place. This year's tax forms will be available beginning the first week of February. You can also access tax forms for the prior two years. Registration/login required.

View your tax forms

HOW TO ACCESS:

  1. Go to Account Summary section.
  2. Choose Select an Action from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select View Tax Forms.

GET YOUR HISTORICAL TAX INFORMATION

To request your historical tax information from the previous six tax years, please call 800.345.6611, Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m.–7 p.m. ET. You may also complete the Duplicate Year End Statement and Tax Form Request form, and mail it to the address on the form.

Note: If you are looking for your cost basis for tax reporting, please refer to the Cost Basis FAQ for more information.

IRS FORM MAILING DEADLINES IN 2019 FOR 2018 TAX REPORTING

1099R: Distributions from Pensions, Annuities, Retirement or Profit-Sharing Plans, IRAs, etc.

Reports any reportable distributions paid from your retirement account

1099Q: Payments from Qualified Education Programs

Reports payments and distributions from a 529 Plan Account or Coverdell Education Savings Account (formerly known as the Education IRA)

1099DIV: Dividends and Distributions

Reports dividends and distributions from the previous year and taxes withheld from your dividends even if you reinvested all fund distributions

February 15

1099B: Proceeds from Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions

Reports proceeds and certain other tax information from any redemption or exchange of shares from one fund to another

February 15

5498-ESA: Coverdell ESA Contribution Information

Reports contributions to a Coverdell Education Savings Account (formerly known as the Education IRA)

April 30

5498: IRA Contribution Information

Reports regular or rollover IRA contributions or Roth contributions, as well as the fair market value of your retirement account(s) for the previous year

Note: The fair market value of your retirement account(s) is also listed on your year-end statement. You do not need Form 5498 to file your taxes.

Note: If the standard IRS mailing deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the adjusted deadline will be the next business day. The table above reflects these adjustments for 2019.
