Tri-Continental Corporation ("the Corporation") has an earned distribution policy. Tri-Continental intends to make distributions to stockholders that are approximately equal to all distributions received from Tri-Continental's underlying portfolio investments, less expenses and dividends payable on Tri-Continental's preferred stock.
